We aspired to through an event that offered something different, radical transparency, a relaxed forum and full of great people taking part with the sessions. The feedback was unanimous…’best property event we’ve been to’…massively appreciated and thank you to everyone who attended! Nonetheless there are things we think we could still improve on for future events and the Ground Up Network as a whole. We want to offer a healthy space for property and business people to share ideas, resources and support without a crazy price tag! ✋🏻 Ground Up was set up as 4 mates with a common cause to help each other and have a good time whilst doing it. Hopefully we can inspire others to create similar bonds and navigate the industry together because it can be rough at times! Photos Videos Happy 2024 🍻 In 2023 we started 3 new businesses, built 14 x high end serviced apartments/ now we’re hoteliers, raised millions of pounds in equity, undertook 25 development projects, climbed out of some deep and dark holes (thanks inflation and Lizz Truss), hired more team members, now at 35+ staff and growing, wrote a few songs and consolidated the group portfolio including the trading businesses at the backend of the year taking us into 2024. In 2024 we’re starting up a property training business, building more serviced apartments, 40+ HMO projects and 3 large commercial to residential apartment blocks. Busy times ahead! January 1, 2024

Photos A ‘How To Guide’ on saving ourselves from ourselves…nothing is more urgent today than taking the necessary steps towards a better future before the consequences of bad AI unravel. Not to say AI is inherently bad, in fact it could completely elevate all of us into a utopian future but bad actors or loose regulations could very quickly steer us down a path of no return. It’s easy to sit there now and assume everything’s fine when there doesn’t seem to be a clear or tangible sign of disaster ahead. But that is exactly what is so scary about incredibly smart machines, they aid the subtly, the manipulation, the slow dismantling of society without us even realising!
